Vadim Nozdrya 

CEO, ISTIL Management 

Vadim Nozdrya joined ISTIL Group in 2006, at which time he led the group’s Kiev office. Mr. Nozdrya brings extensive management and international trade experience to the Group. Mr. Nozdrya’s top management experience at both commercial and state enterprises provides valuable know-how for his key role in ensuring effective operational management of ISTIL Group projects. He is a graduate of National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with a specialty in Finance.

Abid Hussain Junejo

Treasurer&Chief Auditor

Abid Hussain Junejo hold a Masters Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Zhdanov Metallurgical Institute (now - Pryazovskyi State Technical University) followed by numerous management courses. He has 28 years of experience of working in Steel Industry including 10 years in Finance, Accounting, Economics and IT. He joined ISTIL Group in 1998 and worked in the capacities of Director Finance, CFO and Treasurer.

Oleg Makarenko
Head of Legal Department, ISTIL Management

Oleg Makarenko is a certified international lawyer and a full member of the Kyiv Region Bar Association. He graduated from the Institute of International Relations at National Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv.
Mr. Makarenko has lead ISTIL Group’s legal department since October 2008. Prior to joining ISTIL Group, Mr. Makarenko was a head the departments at Russian Standard Bank, First Ukrainian International Bank and Interregional Investment Union. His responsibilities with ISTIL Group include:  structuring mergers and acquisitions in media & telecommunications, real estate, legal due diligence for potential investment and legal support of all transactions carried out by the Group. 

Sergey Molchanov
CFO, ISTIL Management

Sergey Molchanov was appointed chief financial officer of ISTIL Group in September 2008.
Mr. Molchanov his has extensive auditing, due diligence and financial analysis experience in various sectors including telecoms, metallurgy, food and banking. Prior to joining ISTIL Group, he gained valuable experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers Ukraine, Cardinal Resources plc and at the Interregional Investment Union, where Mr. Molchanov introduced a new and effective financial management system while heading the group’s M&A activity. Mr. Molchanov has a master’s degree in economics, is a certified chartered accountant and a current member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program (CFA).

Jim Phillipoff
Media&Telecom Director, ISTIL Management

Jim Phillipoff heads the media and telecoms projects at ISTIL Group, as such he is the CEO of Istil Telecom (XtraTV DTH project).
Mr. Phillipoff is an American native with a B.A. in international relations from Clark University. His work experience includes media, sales, telecoms, management, public relations, marketing and contract negotiations. As a former entrepreneur, he founded, owned and managed wireless cable television systems (MMDS) operator, an English language newspaper and Motorola distributorship in the CIS region. At the height of his company’s growth, he managed and maintained a staff of more than 100 employees as CEO of the group.

Ranjit Kumar
Director MetalsRussia (India) Private Limited

Ranjit Kumar joined ISTIL Group’s Moscow office in 2001 as manager of exports. He worked in Donetsk, Ukraine, as general manager of international trade at the Group’s steel mill, аnd shifted to Delhi, India, in 2005.
Mr. Kumar holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Bhagalpur University, India. He worked in Moscow as manager for more than eight years with an Irish company, where he acquired experience in marketing and administration.

Masood Asghar

COO for Dubai Operations

Masood Asghar is working as COO for Dubai Operations and Head of trading operations in Pakistan. He holds a MSc Engineering Degree from Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys and post graduate diploma from University of Connecticut (USA). He has worked in management positions in steel industry for over 20 years and international trading for above 10 years. He joined ISTIL Group in 2008.

Dr. Farooq Siddiqui

COO, ISTIL Production and Trading

Dr. Farooq Siddiqui has joined ISTIL Group in September 2009 as Chief Operating Officer – Production and Trading. He was previously the top manager of Donetsk Electro Metallurgical Plant, previously also known as ISTIL(Ukraine) and has worked at various top managerial positions at Donetsk Metallurgical Plant before that since 1996. He has also been a key member of the Metalsrussia Ltd since 1993, after his engineering career at Pakistan Steel in Karachi.
His experience in plant operations and trading activities is deemed to bring value to ISTIL Group, as he will be responsible for coordinating the engineering production units and heading the trading activities of the Group.
Dr. Siddiqui has a doctoral degree in metallurgical engineering from Hokkaido State University (Japan), and holds a Masters (incl. basic engineering) degree in the same field from Zhdanovsky Metallurgical Institute (Ukraine FSU). He has also studied at Institute of Business Administration Karachi for a short period. He was bestowed an honorary professorship by Donetsk Academy of Management.
Since 2004, he has been the President of the European Business Association Donetsk chapter, in addition to being one of the Directors of Metallurgprom (association of steel industry of Ukraine), UkrFA (association of ferro-alloys industry of Ukraine), Chairman of the Employer’s association of Donbass and member of many other associations and groups.
